Actually publishing my shit has had the wonderful side effect of putting me in closer contact with other mechsploitation writers.

Witnessing some of the fun they're getting up to drives home how lucky I am that Miss and Mistress haven't obliged me to divulge any details about our dynamics (yet). 😶

In the meantime, I've finally figured out what I'm doing for the Mechsplo Writer's Jam, and without giving too much away my sincere hope is that it will leave people thinking: "Wait hold on, isn't she the one who did that tense, serious Cold War thriller piece two weeks ago? What the fuck? Huh???"

I'm blown away by the positive response to [Homo Caninus]. It got a lot more attention than I was expecting, honestly. It's encouraging. Here's hoping my emphatically overambitious solo project gets a similar reception, once I finish it. Still only a third of the way done atm, but I'll get there.

It probably shows, but Handler is my favorite character in WARHOUND. I had an excellent time writing a character who perhaps isn't quite at Her level just yet.
