This is a good thread about transphobe Rowling’s recent misinformation that “trans kids don’t exist”. Reality is so hard for bigots.

I am deeply suspicious of "normal" people, in a society like ours. The only way you can be normal in this kinda society, is to be complicit with things that are deeply inhumane. It means being okay with cutthroat capitalism, imperialism, militarism, colonialism, genocide, and ethnic cleansing.

This is a great definition to ponder if you want to move past “doesn’t punish” parenting into doesn’t manipulate or coerce parenting.

As an anarchist, those things are violence too.

Please stop using fatness as a shorthand for greed or gluttony. In art, in memes, in your writing.

Remember what words they consider violent:

“Deny. Defend. Depose.”

“Free Palestine.”

“From the river to the sea.”

“No justice, no peace.”

“Defund the police.”

And then ask yourself why the words are considered violent but the violence the ruling class commits is considered acceptable.

You cannot "assume" intersectionality. It has to be an ever active and working part of your values and goals while you are doing the work.
