Whatever Dems are doing, people aren't seeing it. They aren't seeing any fight. The OPPOSITION party needs to be seen fighting. People are trying to get it into their heads that their stupid press release based strategy is FAILING

Well obviously people do given they are literally protesting. And if that's nothing, why are you complaining at who it's currently directed at? I'm not even strictly talking about traditional media. Social media is full of people demanding "where is Congress?"

Anything less than total opposition sends a signal that these are normal times, and lets the media treat it as such. And as long as Democrats aren't doing everything they can you will see some of the anger and energy that Republicans rightfully should face to be diverted to Dems as well.

The first step is to actually get our side in total opposition mode. Which they aren't currently. We know there's not a ton that they can DO to stop it, but signals matter.
