Blusky hard to keep up with, but me remember now! I made a new render, yay! :D

A render of an anthropomorphic fox in the middle of the Hikari dance. A mix of purple, blue, and red colours are filtered through a CRT filter to give it fuzzy detail and worn age. The fox's teeth and eye are glowing.

Motivation seems to hit me when I least expect it, like when I want to make a hikari pose and end up splicing it into a CRT looking thing! (zoom in for the fuzzies in the details) :D

In case anybody wants proof that that radio actually works and I use it

(Also I replaced the capacitors back in high school)

I might have gotten lost in Monster Hunter World and made a Fatalis Smash Trophy! :D

Books in libraries almost gave me a university ptsd flashback XD (all those prices,,)

But I will search! And surely there's been online lectures about this somewhere on the interwebs, or even on archive.org, like the animator's survival kit!

It'll be tough, but hopefully with some starting points you've provided I can get myself out there and not sit on the side of the road and pondering XD

[I might have to stop looking at those 'quick' tutorials and look at in depth videos, or even paid courses if it has to come to it!]

I have a copy of the Animator's Survival guide! It helped when I did a bouncing ball animation eons ago. I might try my hand at drawing again if it helps with 3D work (I'll need a tablet, right? lol). I'll narrow down my compositing and lighting search to IRL film courses to see what I can find.

I want to improve my skills in rendering, animation, VFX and compositing, and yet each render I do I can't get it to that level I want it to be at. How do I learn something that I can't put my finger on?

I think I've hit a roadblock with my 3D art. I don't particularly want to do as many Fazclaire renders, with a few exceptions, but in order to get those renders done I need to up my skills by TENFOLD at least. Looking where to learn and how to learn these skills has been nothing short of abysmal.
