it's fun but on the easy side and not as clever in story or environment design as I'd like
though I hope we get more action RPGs with levels you can really get lost in like this. that dungeoneering/adventuresome element is missing from most new RPGs, action or otherwise

also loved the combination between 'banaynas and avacadies' indie girl music+the utter guresomeness of it all. it actually matches how rancid a lotta that music is lyrically

I beat the demo for that game! the boss, all the side stuff
and I thought the dialogue, story, and atmosphere were incredible
and the combat's great!
but uhhh the navigational stuff... it being a metroidvania at all... that made me NOT buy it. really wish you just did missions from the hub
