(Michigan: Report from Hell) Here's a fun fact that I (wrongfully) assumed was semi-common knowledge until the stream: the game doesn't take place in Michigan (the state). It actually takes place in Chicago, Illinois, near *Lake* Michigan.

One fun thing that I learned yesterday in my Michigan: Report from Hell playthrough is that a few members of the GHM staff contributed their voices to the potential cameramen in the Japanese version. Masafumi Takada and Jun Fukuda are likely the most recognizable names.

The actual music choices were also pretty weird, too. For instance, the first level is set to Last VERSUS from Ultra Despair Girls. That's a battle theme from the last chapter of a late-ish spin-off game, which you'd think would logically be used for a late-ish boss battle in Necrodancer, and yet...

Takada's work on Danganronpa is top notch, but those compositions of course weren't made for a dungeon crawling rhythm game, and combined with some strange tempo changes to force his music into the mold, it's pretty uncanny. But hey, there are character skins, so I can play as Chiaki, so...cool?

Reminded of how Crypt of the Necrodancer had a crossover with Danganronpa, and man, what a bizarre combination. It's not necessarily bad, but it doesn't fully work.

Sengoku Leggings Blueprint Plans Added

Here's that blueprint I found very early in the climb, which I already knew had to be a regular item and not a Tengoku item. Funnily enough, despite being a rather mundane find, I'm actually pretty happy as I've had this one on a list of missing blueprints for a while.
