been slowly replaying ff7 remake on switch since it came out. forgot the absolute manic frenzy energy of this cutscene, and it was the moment the remake series won me over; the perfect amount of goof that expands on the scenes and characters of the original

i have no skin in the game, but "Kyoto Xanadu" is the most powerful combination of words i've ever read

that's a very haunting and beautiful trailer and i hadn't really seen people talk about that side of the game before now. very excited to get my hands dirty

leaning into the memeability of a thing is smart nowadays since all it takes is one moment of the right kind of virality for a game to explode; i partially know about qud from being able to turn your brain into spray and becoming a door. but i'm with you, i lean more into the getting immersed angle

this will finally be the thing that fixes me
