I feel like this is appropriate today

Earlier this year, between mile eight and nine of the Illinois Marathon, I stopped and helped administer CPR to a man in cardiac distress. He survived and has no deficits because prompt, high quality CPR was administered. Then I finished the marathon.

I dedicated years of my life to reporting on January 6 and exposing what happened. I was there that day, co-wrote a book, and published a series of major stories on my own, for Rolling Stone, and for TPM.

I hope it mattered. I hope history will remember and understand what happened.

personally I think it’s good that the incoming administration is promising not to enforce a ban that was passed by Congress, signed by the president, and upheld by the Supreme Court. It’ll be fun to wake up every morning and find out which laws are still real.
