I had fresh figs today though & they were gorgeous, which I don't usually buy but did so as I saw them on a low histamine list. so it's not all bad. also tonight's meal was tasty before I reacted to it

10.05.2024 23:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0im pretty sure it's not the chicken but beyond that idk
10.05.2024 22:36 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0you're so kind 😭 it was just organic chicken + red onion, paprika, fresh garlic, turmeric, olive oil, salt also 😬 just remembered I added black pepper & dried garlic which I didn't do last time, I've made this dish once before & it was ok

09.05.2024 22:29 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0that's interesting but doesn't answer my two points above, how manufacture of goods overseas but consumed in target country & military 'defense' emissions are counted, I'm not disputing that most domestic consumption/emissions have fallen
09.05.2024 12:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 3 📌 0I want to believe this but it feels like an accounting trick, aren't we buying more stuff than ever before? And where are the emissions logged for that? Do emissions from military activity ever get accounted for in these things?

08.05.2024 08:48 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0they're doing that because Adidas or whatever don't make cropped shirts & it looks cool & is good for the environment it's not to scam you Karen 😭😭 it's fashion 😭 you know that thing kids do to look cool to each other! Goodness
08.05.2024 08:47 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Be wary of vintage stores- some places put their own tags on after altering clothes, so you're unlikely to be getting anything 'new' (besides accessories). I've seen some stores use the word ''reclaimed'' to market their wears, but that often means them charging above the odds to make minor edits, such as simply cutting and hemming a t-shirt to crop it.
I'm not exactly gen z but this article in mse explaining how people can get new clothes for 2nd hand prices has made me feel like a baby today- - 'beware of upcyclers making your clothes cooler' what 😭😭😭 now i understand why so many people are still shopping the high st 😭
