I’m saddened to share that my father-in-law, @theotheroldjoe83.bsky.social , passed away on July 13. He truly valued the community he found here on Bluesky. I’m sharing his obituary below and will repost this from his account so that his friends and followers can see it.

All outdoor scenes were shot on your favorite river, the Rogue, and my favorite, the Deschutes.

I love turtles, but really have very little knowledge about them. Here are a few that I think are River Cooters.
I took the photos of these two in Sebastian, FL. Near my home.

Someone told me that when they legally changed their name they actually got it changed on their birth certificate too so you can apparently do that. But if 69 million people did that, how long would it take to process? This is kinda weird because a married name isn't the name you were BORN with

This tropical flower is called a Plumeria. The one pictured has a spectacular array of colors, including a blend of soft whites, pinks, and yellows. The leaves are vibrant green. The fragrance is very nice too.

From our garden last year, our Plumeria, or Frangipani, plants all blossomed beautifully. This one had a spectacular array of colors, including white, pink, and yellow.
The ground cover is purple heart, with some mint in the mix.
