Welcome to Eidrosa Nine gods, one wound, and a table that repairs.

And it only happened because the table kept saying yes. Yes to tiny pieces of character flavor, yes to homebrew orders, classes, and gods, yes to a smutty paperback as the spark that turns a crowd. The story first frame let a throwaway line become full-scale rebellion.

All of this lives in Eidrosa, our homebrewed setting inside this system. Silent Sisters and the Temple of Threshold. Marrowmother and Musecaller. Fabletouched on the roads. Mercybinder vows in the bones.

It's not the salaciousness that makes it work. It is a mirror. Redhaven sees itself in the fiction. Bakers, porters, scribes, street kids. Everyone gets to be a hot, horny hero dunking on Axis. The old recruiting stronghold becomes the epicenter of Axis ridicule.

Planned property defacement comes next. A mural in the town square with birds carrying city sigils, chains breaking, and the dare “Can love alone topple an empire.” A workwall tagged “Redhaven is Rising.” Axis barracks rechristened in giant letters that spell out “Tiny Dick HQ.”

They hand copy twelve and seed them at first light through Redhaven’s markets. Bread stalls. Laundry lines. Gossip lanes. Sex may sell but its the humor that holds fast.

The party grabs onto it with both hands, spending a full night drafting Chains of the Rouge Keep: An Oath Most Naughty. Pulp with resistance tactics threaded into the plot. Symbols of rebellion drawn into the gratuitous cover art.

Here's where the match finds gasoline, though. That laugh is the same energy that worked in Hollowford and Dayburn. Every time the novel praises an axe’s heft, the room snorts. And the idea of using smut as vehicle for rebel propaganda and instruction is born.

It becomes a group bonding activity as Grey reads it aloud in the first meeting of the party's Smut After Sunset book club. Terrible metaphors. Excellent kissing. Everyone wheezing with laughter in the half dark.

Liberated cities lead Teren to discovering a single raunchy paperback that he places in Grey’s hands. Oath of Ecstasy by the prolific Roderick Stormmane. Gloriously smutty pulp that is hilarious with it's convoluted euphemisms and thinness of plot.

Then Dayburn. No pumpkins here, but the burning of a larger than life Axis soldier effigy with a teeny tiny member. Laughter again becoming the precursor to uprising.

First there's Hollowford. Mooning effigies with “Axis or Asses?” painted across their bare pumpkin butts. The crowd cannot stop saying it, can't stop laughing at it. Fear not able to stand in the face of ridicule.

Then, they decide its time to stop trying to outrun and out bleed an empire and start to out narrate it instead. We find a troupe of Fabletouched, our homebrewed bard class, to move our stories faster Axis orders. They sing for the Musecaller, story’s god in our Eidrosa pantheon.

A dozen sessions pass. Raids. Hard choices. The party keeps moving. The promise seems forgotten.

Teren says, “I'll find you a book then. Purely frivolous. Bodice ripping if I can swing it.” The table laughs and then moves on, letting the thread go quiet.

Context for Grey. She is a Mercybinder, our reskinned Seraph path, sworn to the Marrowmother whose mercy is bone true and unsentimental. In that life, pleasure without justification is radical.
