My starter pack! I almost never do art trends (due to no time) but this one is SO cute that I HAD to. Nessadrawn comes with sweets, a comic book, and a huge dog. And she's 100% hand-drawn by a real human artist!

As a lover of children's picture books (+ cynical twists on them) and a member of a group program that practices inner child work, this is the FUNNIEST testimonial for a comic I've seen in a long time! 🤣

I'm the same as you here. One thing I heard is to narrow down your focus areas where you want to help vs trying to tackle everything + back leaders already in the space. Then you'll experience some wins, some camaraderie. Dunno if that helps you stay positive, but it helps me a bit.

Ah I see what you mean. One thing I can't stand about procreate is how it blurs when you rotate or resize.

Love those reasons! Might consider adopting them. One reason I make art is because I feel great when I do and miserable when I don't.

You know that advice: when you want to buy something superfluous, wait 24 hours before deciding? Here's my artist version: just make art. It's so distracting and fulfilling that I forget about wanting to buy things.

One thing I have power to do within this landscape of turmoil is build community. The latest Art Club focused on polymer clay so we all bumbled our way through making silly animals. I'm so grateful for everyone who came together for quality fun times.
