Artists working in mainstream USA comics: Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, etc. all expect art to these dimensions. I'm seeing more and more disregard for the standard specs, and it affects everyone's deadlines to have production try and wrestle your art into proper proportions.

she literally wrote this book because her son was starting to develop self-hatred because of his freckles and it reminded her of being teased as a kid and now we’ve got people saying that’s white woman fragility and it’s fine that her book is being banned by the government. We are so cooked.

The addition of shoes somehow makes her look like a Sonic character while retaining the canon look, I cannot stress how much this is meant as a positive.
