I can’t say it’s crossed my mind until now but, now that I am thinking about it, burning of the houses of parliament (or serious attempts to) is a milestone that we haven’t reached yet. And what self respecting democracy hasn’t reached this point? So, in many ways Australia is still a toddler, no?
