Directly inspired by some art school profs I had that made me feel like I would never have an art career if I wasn't ready to grind 24/7/365 no breaks for it. The further I get into my career, the less healthy I think that message was...!

-It's really normal and healthy to carve out time for doing things like resting, socializing, and engaging in non-art hobbies even if you're juggling multiple jobs.

The nice thing about being an artist is that when you mildly sprain your drawing wrist after slipping on ice you already have the appropriate brace to wear 🙃

I've been wanting to table at furry cons for years and years but have had cold feet due to lack of events close to me + not being sure how comics/zines would go over with judges and attendees. Still plenty to be nervous about but I'm happy I finally took a chance and will be at Anthrocon!
