I don't like that this is AI slop...but I agree with this and more importantly with what that kid did.

5: CMDR Kruge, Christopher Lloyd's villain character from TSOS, did not execute his gunner half-way through the film for disobedience. The killing was summary roadside justice for the death of a defenseless science ship crew. Seems the Klingons find cold-blooded murder not quite so honorable.

4: The Search for Spock is low-key the most influential of the 80s Trek films. It introduces a whole slew of beloved ships, from the iconic Klingon Bird-of-Prey to the awesome Excelsior, which I would love to see be a hero ship for a future series. It's also the true birth of the modern Klingons.

3: I can live with the SNW gimmick episodes, as long as it's one a season. The current team behind SNW undoubtedly was inspired by Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (and Angel, which I prefer).

Also, SNW is supposed to be happy fun time in contrast to the grimdark tone of DSC.

2: I don't actually want them to turn the SNW Enterprise into the TOS Enterprise. I hear all the TOS grognards whining about canon, but I believe if Roddenberry and company had had the budget and imagination, TOS would look like SNW.

1: TMP was the purest expression of Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future. Most people don't like it because it's too cerebral (and too slow), but the Director's Edition helps with that.

Also, Jerry Goldsmith's musical score (including the future TMG theme) goes HARD.

One like = One opinion about Star Trek.

I'll go so far as to say that Chrissy is THE sexiest person on SNW, and that's with Rebecca Romjin and a whole principle cast full of hotties.

Also, I'm pretty sure we're supposed to ship Spock and La'an; they are having a photo op at STLV thus year with Ethan, Jess, and Chrissy.

The Claire-Issac relationship and the Kaylon arc is incredibly compelling. Who's gonna tell the Kaylons that they're a lot emotional than they want to admit?
