Canberra, the far-right are holding another rally in our city. Please join the counter-demonstration. Organised by CARA (Canberra Anti-Racism Alliance).
We cannot allow them to go unopposed.
Right now, Donald Trump, Kash Patel, Kristi Noem, and other officials are participating in a panel about "Antifa," threatening to "destroy the entire organization [sic] from top to bottom."
This is a good time to revisit our guide to preparing for repression:

Worth remembering that SEAM was abandoned by the federal Coalition government not just because of human rights concerns.
But also the evaluations showed that it "didn't work" in terms of creating the outcomes that the government wanted to see.
This dead policy should not have been resurrected.

That's the definition of fascism from Robert Paxton, one of the preeminent historians of the subject, from his book ANATOMY OF FASCISM which came out more than two decades ago.

Jaw-dropping response from the CASS Dean. Appears to be a misinterpretation of the WHS provisions and cease work direction. The WHS direction covers all CASS work. The WHS direction is about keeping people safe from serious and imminent risks to health and safety.

That means:

Itβs governance without a functioning accountability loop. Misaligned incentives breed problems.
