It's so hard to get clinicians, engineers, and business people to all speak the same language.

Always wonder how other engineers balance the joy of creating and inventing with the crushing reality that anything you make has to exist for the sole purpose of profit.

Even if it's just a momentary disruption in service, I'd be worried about two population groups:

1. Patients who rely on medicaid for services for chronic conditions (think: insulin, home health, hospice care, etc)

2. Lower socioeconomic populations where there's a higher dependence on medicaid

The most immediate impact here is on billing and claims management. Without this, providers can't submit claims. If providers can't get reimbursement for services then they may ask patients to postpone services until they know they'll get covered.

Conjugate drugs like this are exceptionally interesting to me. Leveraging the monoclonal antibody as a way to "target" the cancer cells and deliver the cytotoxin is extremely clever.
