She is also interested in understanding small wetlands, which are often overlooked despite their crucial role in biodiversity. Laura will use #PeatNeeds microgrant to cover essential needs in order to focus entirely on thesis writing.

The first recipient of our March #PeatNeeds microgrants is Dylan Oliver. He is part of the wet woodlands research network (@wetwoodlands.bsky.social) where scientists and stakeholders are interested in nature-based solutions for climate change. 1/2
