We support the Richmond Kickers the oldest continuously operating professional soccer team in the US. Section O is where you'll find us. All are welcome.

14.11.2025 14:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Completely killed my viewing of MLS. Seen maybe 2-3 games in the last two years.
13.11.2025 22:29 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's fucking insane that a USL owner shut down his team and is even being considered to revive the team in two years while his players are shit out-of-luck. And you're being dense if you think it couldn't happen to your team as well. Get behind your players and push for the ratification of the CBA!
13.11.2025 01:24 β π 21 π 7 π¬ 0 π 0Great job all around.

11.11.2025 17:23 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A must read for all USL supporters. Sidenote it's hell of impressive that the Kickers while not in USLC have outlasted 12 USLC teams and I don't know how many USL1 teams.
11.11.2025 14:48 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Some soccer pics. Ejercito Rojo with a 2-1 win to advance to the final 8 in the Copa Bruce. Well done lads, well done.
11.11.2025 14:31 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's hared to be surprised by anything FIFA does and this no exception.
10.11.2025 17:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Support the RVA Community Fridges.
09.11.2025 02:27 β π 8 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Since this is a Richmond Kickers supporters account I'll give you my USL1 Playoff predictions. Knoxville is going to run over Naples. Somehow Hearts of Pine will win in Spokane. In the final after much hype about Hearts saving US Soccer they'll be crushed 5-0 by Knoxville. HOP fans will know pain.
07.11.2025 17:17 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0Posted a bunch of cyclocross photos over on RVAHub Insta if you're bored.
07.11.2025 16:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Best kit in the history of US Soccer ever. I will die on this hill.
06.11.2025 16:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One of the few signing I knew was set to happen and thrilled to see if formally announced. Dakota is a great player and person.
05.11.2025 17:06 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Getting on my after lunch. This pile of photos can edit themselves.
05.11.2025 16:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh, FFS. How any soccer lover with any moral backbone supports FIFA and as a result the World Cup is beyond me.
05.11.2025 15:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I worked my 3rd election yesterday. It's a long day but I urge anyone who can to volunteer to be an election officer. I'm guesstimating that the avg. age at my polling station was 65+. I'm 57 and one of the youngest. We need younger folks to step and join the process. Bonus: you get pins.
05.11.2025 14:46 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One of the reasons for moving was to be closer to family his wife's (embarrassed I can't remember her name) I believe. I don't think we'll see NCFC come back at all. I new time might come out of Raleigh if the stadium gets built, big if, but it certainly won't be NCFC. So many bridges burnt.
05.11.2025 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Off-season current hobby. 3d printing bird skulls. Not my models. Two ravens and a peregrine falcon. Currently on the printer a great blue heron skull.

#USOC2026 2QR: Sharktopus FC won its replay over Bellevue Athletic FC, 5-0, on a rainy Seattle night to earn a spot in the Third Qualifying Round. Two goals & an assist from Love Is Blind star Kwame Appiah sets up a date with Ballard FC this weekend.

texoma YIKES
28.10.2025 16:31 β π 28 π 3 π¬ 2 π 0I will pretend to be patient while I await these assessments. It's going to be a wackier postseason than normal this year.
28.10.2025 16:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Texoma FC will be self-relegating to USL League Two, while leaving the door open for a future return or partnership with pro soccer projects in North Texas.
All 2025 players become free agents.
This is not something I enjoy reporting on.
Legend.
28.10.2025 15:38 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not surprising but hate to see any USL1 shrinkage.
28.10.2025 15:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm so surprised by this news. What are the odds that a stadium would end up costing the city more? 98-100% is my guess.
28.10.2025 14:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0NWSL Supporter Groups As NWSL supporters associations representing thousands of fans across the country, we invite the NWSL and its fans to join us in taking a vocal and visible stand in support of the transgender community and against all gender-based harassment. Women's soccer exists because society refused to accept exclusion. Our game was built through generations of struggle-for gender equity, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial justice. Efforts to exclude trans athletes are fueled by the same forces of misogyny and bigotry that have long tried to dictate who belongs. These efforts undermine the spirit of women's sports and harm all athletes by reinforcing narrow, discriminatory ideas about gender.
From the field to the stands, the LGBTQ+ community has always been a vital and visible part of the NWSL, and for many of us, women's sport is a safe havenβa place where we have found community and belonging while being our full selves. Come to an NWSL game, and you will see not just athleticism and competition, but joy and togetherness. Our league, where queer and trans kids can see themselves reflected on the field and in the stands, is proof that welcoming everyone makes us all safer.
Now, as the trans community faces escalating attacks driven by harmful legislation and damaging public rhetoric, we must continue that fight by standing firmly and vocally, together, for inclusion in sports. It is on all of us to ensure that every match, every event, and every space under the league's banner remains safe, inclusive, and free from hate-for everyone. Silence is not neutrality. Speaking out matters. Showing your support for trans athletes, and trans people, matters. Let's work together to ensure women's soccer continues to be a space of inclusion, safety, and joy for all.
π³οΈββ§οΈ Today, and every day, we stand with supporters groups across the NWSL to say - loud and clear: Trans People Belong.
In the stands, on the pitch, in our communities - everywhere.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and celebrated.
No exceptions. β€οΈπ€
