3/3 A silly little video featuring my 4th craft door and mini Leon. Please excuse the video quality, it's my first day. 😅 I can’t NOT hear the Main Hall theme song when I see these doors. 🤩

[Progress photos of my RE2 1/6 scale R.P.D. Main Entrance doors.] Because this is a double door, I used the entire backing from an 8.5 x 11 inch dollar store frame and then added off-cuts from my previous single doors to get it to the correct proportions for a double door. I glued the pieces together with construction adhesive. Once the glue was dry, I then taped the entire thing with green masking tape for a bit of extra security.

[Progress photos of my RE2 1/6 scale R.P.D. Main Entrance doors.] I glued canvas paper on top of the masking tape. I then drew my door trim shapes onto the paper with pencil. I also painted the squares for the double windows with black acrylic paint. Once the paint dried, I cut out my door trim shapes from cardboard and chipboard. I glued them down in layers to build up the trim shapes. I also made the long door handles by gluing several thin strips of chipboard on top of each other. It's not shown in these progress photos, but I later inserted pieces of black acetate for the window glass.

[Progress photo of my RE2 1/6 scale Kendo's Gun Shop door.] *** Please refer to Door #1 in this series to see the steps for how I made the base door shape. *** Once I had my base door shape ready to go, I measured and drew the trim and detail shapes onto the canvas paper.

[Progress photo of my RE2 1/6 scale Kendo's Gun Shop door.] Here I have multiple pieces of chipboard cut out to build up the trim and details by layering them on top of each other. On the canvas paper, I painted the area for the two tall windows in black. The four diamond shapes at the bottom of the door were tricky and required a lot of trial and error to cut and fold the chipboard juuuuuust right so they didn't stick out too far from their surrounding trim.

And beside that is a photo of the fully painted door and door handle. For the window glass, I used a rectangle cut from a black acetate folder that I then sandwiched between two of the chipboard layers that had the window holes cut in them. Below is a group photo of all three of my completed 1/6 scale doors.

I then used the strips of chipboard to build up my door trims.

I even made the doorknob out of chipboard and I'm still surprised at how well it turned out. I then covered the whole door in gesso (primer layer), and then mixed various shades of brown from my cheapo craft paints to get a wooden texture look.

3/3 More progress photos of my 1st RE2 door, and screenshots of the door in-game (from OG RE2). My finished craft door is not 100% accurate to the game, but I'd never made anything like this before and I tried my best at the time. The important part is that I had fun making it. ☺️

[Progress photo of my RE2 1/6 scale Press Room(?) door.] I started by taking the hard backing from a Dollar Store picture frame and trimming it to the correct dimensions (had to cut the sides, then add those cut pieces to the bottom to get more standard looking door proportions).

I completed my NewGame+ run and unlocked all the endings. Still did not find an explanation for why the clock at the reception desk in the Lakeview Hotel is the only clock in the entire game with a different time. 🤔 Why not 9:10 like the others?
