Wait- i've seen this movie before...

I feel like the series would just kind of be in a no-win situation. You either change too much and make it too much like Sony's current triple-A output and drive away old fans in the process,

or try to make something that harkens back to the older games and it coming up short.

And we already saw what happened when another developer tried tackling Jak and Daxter, we ended up with Lost Frontier, which didn't have the same sauce that made the PS2 games special.

Side-tangent, God of War 2018 was literally Santa Monica Studio saying "Oh hey, The Last of Us is popular, let's just do what they did".

And that's why I didn't bother playing God of War 2018. They changed way too much about what I loved about the OG God of War gameplay.

If Naughty Dog...hell, ANY other developer, were to tackle it, they would most likely reboot it in a similar way to how God of War got rebooted. Where they changed it from a hack-and-slash platformer, to a third person cinematic over-the-shoulder movie-game that barely resembles what it once was.

I would say the single biggest reason why I'm ultimately against a Jak and Daxter reboot/revival/whatever you wanna call it,

if Naughty Dog were to handle it (hypothetically), the creative team that made the PS2 games so special have all LONG left the company.

I can't in good conscience leave two stream VODs up with my mic settings like that, so I have decided to delete the Alice stream VODs from my second channel.

They're still up on my Twitch if you really wanna watch 'em.

I was a good hour or so into streaming when I noticed my mic settings had their noise gate/suppression settings way too high.

This was what was causing me to cut out all last stream, and I didn't catch it until now.

Monster Energy

Dead Rising, honestly, should be a series with a new protagonist each game and considering Dead Rising 4 brought Frank back and did him so dirty people call him "Hank East", I ain't exactly confident in this.

Okay, so I'll admit I was interested in checking out Battlefield 6, but my current motherboard is too old to support Secure Boot and TPM 2.0. Doesn't even give me an option for it in the BIOS.

I'm hoping I'll be able to finally upgrade my PC within the next month or two.
