Throughout the film I couldn't help but feel that this is a very fantastical/romanticised version of these events and people, and has very little to do with their actual story. That being said, Hamlet is my favourite play by Shakespeare (basic, I know) and I almost cried at the very end

Careful, this will be sappy. Run away while you can You have no idea how much this game means to me as someone from Cracow, but also as someone who grew up in Nowa Huta. While exploring I stopped every once in a while to just behold every single place and how nostalgic it felt. No joke, I kept telling myself "Oh my God, it looks like this place from my childhood" or "Oh wow, our block of flats looked like that". Seeing the New Dawn all abandoned and dilapidated stung so bad, so did the notes written by the denizens. It feels so weird to have a postapocalyptic survival horror game take place in my city, but honestly it made me love the story, the atmosphere and the characters of Traveller and Warden (whom I jokingly call Jadwiga and Władysław) a whole lot more than if they were to take place anywhere else in the world

Finally finished this behemoth
I got so engrossed in the atmosphere of absolute despair that I kept getting mad at enemy encounters. I could just wander in this world and piece together the scraps of the backstory
The lack of difficulty slider was a bad decision though

I saw someone on the Internet compare this game to an early 2000s Cartoon Network show, and you know what? I agree. I would've loved this crazy world and characters as a kid, and I sure love it as an adult. The fact that I ain't got no rhythm won't stop me from having fun!

#8 Iron Lung (movie)
As someone who didn’t like the game much, I was pleasantly surprised with the movie, and with Markiplier as an actor. The vibe itself is like the Iron Lung game mixed with an evil version of Solaris, with a dash of Evangelion; which is great. I would trim half an hour off though

#7 It Comes at Night
Dear horror directors, please stop putting dogs into your films. It's an obvious, lazy, cruel shock device for the audience and it doesn't add much to the experience. If anything, it takes away from it, because the audience is more angry than scared. Sincerely, a dog owner

#6 Silent Hill (movie)
The director's sexism towards men aside, it's not too bad? True, the CGI is horrendous, the inclusion of SH2 monsters makes ZERO sense, I would also prefer more tunes from the first Silent Hill game. The girl playing Sharon was pretty great though, and I liked the finale

#5 Animal Farm (stage play)
Does Animal Farm work as a musical? You bet! I was impressed with how subtle the makeup and costumes were, you still could tell each animal apart from each other, even without any over the top prosthetics. Not to mention the distinct body language each character had

This is the best entry in the Hunger Games series. Coriolanus is such a fascinating character and seeing him become the person we know from the original trilogy is a thrill ride. The final chapters especially, which I read with bated breath. Amazing read, 10/10

What a way to end the year
Personally, I don't think it's as scary as SH2R, but it's still a pretty fantastic game. Maaaybe it could benefit from more variety in puzzles throughout different playthroughs. Still, the story and characters are incredible and worth every single minute

Lucien was done dirty once again. And as much as I don't like Tamlin, I couldn't stand the "heroes" purposefully tormenting him. I would also appreciate it if the supposed "Christmas special" didn't focus so much on war trauma. Talk about tonal whiplash

Why, Rob Schneider, why?
Other than him, there really is something genuine and sweet in this movie, which I didn't expect from Adam Sandler of all people. Luckily there wasn't as much gross out humour as I thought there would be. I'm glad I watched that Schaffrillas ranking haha

Despite having a really difficult 15-ish first hours, I eventually managed to get into the game. I didn't think the story or characters were as incredible as people made them out to be but I enjoyed exploring Euchronia just fine

I never knew how much I needed a manga about a vampire renting a room at a granny's house. That being said, I wish there were more volumes because there are many things left unexplored, which I really would love to see developed. One thing's certain: I'm hungry now
