Arkansas allows you to not have insurance if you can put in place a $50k bond, so the same as liability insurance.

But I broke my ankle couple of years ago and the "ask" of the bills was (pre-ins numbers) easily about 80k.
So, you'd still be screwed if they had 50k of coverage.
