02.10.2025 17:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The ATA’s announcement of teachers soundly rejecting a contract offer and heading for a strike coincided with the last-in person Alberta Next panel in Calgary.
A high school student tried to ask the panel about it … and what happened next sent everyone chasing after a 17 year old IB student #AbLeg
Without some amazing teachers throughout the years I would have NEVER become a doctor.
Without the amazing PUBLIC education system I wouldn't be where I am today (my family could NOT have afforded private eductation streams).
I stand with our teachers and for our future students!

It may be true that Edmonton Public Schools (EPS) has been too supine in complying with the provincial dictat.
But let's not that deflect attention from she who issued the dictat and now complains she was misunderstood.
EPS may have done us all a favour
