To celebrate Husband and my FIL we had grilled grass-fed ribeye steaks (grilled by Husband), mashed potatoes (made by the girls), sautéed squash and a salad (made by my MIL)

and GF banana bread bread pudding with whipped coconut cream (made by me)

It was a FEAST.

And we all were napping by 5pm 😆😅

I grew up w/ a single-mom mostly preoccupied w/ keeping a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, & schooling to fuel her career growth (no shade)—

So it warms my heart A LOT to hear my in-laws still actively engaged in & supportive of my Husband

They’re not perfect but they’re great role models

I had my first check-in with my midwives yesterday!

I’m over the moon to report that at 17 weeks they were able to hear Baby D’s heartbeat with a fetoscope 🥹💗✨

I’m less overjoyed to report that it’s all too common for women to not be eating enough while pregnant

SO I’m now on an eating schedule 😬

It’s amazing how many things in our life we can apply imagery to in order to consciously create the dreams we want to experience while awake✨
