San Francisco North Beach historic application draws controversy A neighborhood group is hoping to elevate North Beach’s status to one of the nation’s vital organs through an application seeking to add it to the National Register of Historic Places.

Good work by my colleagues to get the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco listed in the National Register of Historic Places, despite challenges from misguided pro-housing YIMBYs. History and housing can co-exist!
