It probably wasnโt necessary to recreate the patterns of a real passportโฆ but we did it anyway ๐
Thatโs how the #FitPassport was born, a new way to see how youโre doing and what kind of athlete you are.
Now available in the @fitwoody.camp beta ๐ชชโจ
We donโt usually show this kind of thing, but hereโs a video of the very first prototype of the #FitPassport from @fitwoody.camp. You canโt imagine how much it has evolved over the past few weeks. ๐ซฃ
So much for those who say you canโt build cool stuff with #SwiftUI.

For the past few weeks, the MX Master 3s has been disconnecting from my computer every time I put my Mac to sleep, and I have to pair it again.
Iโve tried switching mice, updating, etc. Any recommendations?
Weโve all said:
๐ โThis year for sureโ
๐ โIโll start on Mondayโ
๐ โTomorrow I beginโ
The problem was never starting.
The problem was staying consistent.
Starting today, that gets easier with @fitwoody.camp. Beta 3 is live ๐ฏ

You donโt get an email from Apple every day saying they want to feature you on the App Store.
Getting this message right now, while weโre working hard on the V2 of @fitwoody.camp, is one of those small joys that keeps you going.
Now itโs @patricia-bedoya.bsky.socialโs turn to get the assets ready!
Localizing the app into 34 languages without breaking the UI.
Hebrew, Arabic, Germanโฆ everything fits just right.
No redrawing a single screen.
No hacks.
๐ Because if your design breaks with a German labelโฆ
It wasnโt good design.

I wouldnโt think twice about trading my 11โ iPad Pro for thisโฆ just to run Xcode + Claude Code.
With the AI boom, the most interesting apps arenโt on iOS anymore โ theyโre on Mac or the browser.

๐งพ We even use Appleโs Foundation Models to generate short, personalized reports.
What used to go unnoticed, now makes sense.
If weโre adapting your plan, the least we can do is tell you why ๐ก
๐ Now thereโs a dedicated space where we explain how much your goal was adjusted, why, and which metrics triggered it.
๐ Slept poorly? HRV in the red? We break it down with real data.
๐ง In @fitwoody.camp V1, we adjusted your daily goal based on how you were feeling but no one really noticed. Literally.
๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ You saw fewer calories and thought: โDoes the app love me less today?โ
Itโs the least exciting thing weโre doing for @fitwoody.camp V2, but I couldnโt be prouder of how the Settings turned out. โ๏ธ

This was just an early prototype.
But it set the tone for everything that came after.
๐ซ And our favorite detail: the animated gradient.
It changes color based on your current state.
And also changes speed.
It slows down when youโre relaxed. Speeds up when youโre tense.
Itโs the evolution of the original โcampโ โ now with more emotion, more intent, more presence.
๐ฏ The hardest part? Legibility.
At first we went ultra-transparent so the animated background could shine through.
Beautiful, sureโฆ but unreadable.
We ended up landing on a mid-opacity material that keeps things clear without losing the background.
๐ก We asked ourselves:
What would a health app feel like if it could breathe like your body?
So we started building an interface full of depth, blur, and life.
All in SwiftUI, with custom Metal shaders.
Yes, you can build complex UIs in SwiftUI โ if youโre stubborn enough ๐
In April, before Apple even announced #LiquidGlass, we were already playing with translucent materials for the new @fitwoody.camp home screen.
โจ No specs. No guidelines. Just intuition, rumorsโฆ and a few clues hidden in Sports and Invites.
Buying cheap knockoffs is ignorance of what it means to imagine, create, and put yourself out there.
If youโd ever done it, youโd understand.

I know App Store Connect has a bad rep for reviewsโฆ but whatโs going on with #PlayStore these past weeks takes the cake:
๐น Arbitrary rejections of things previously approved
๐น 3-7 days to review an internal test build
Insane.
If youโre syncing your Oura data with Apple Health it should appear in FitWoody. The new version is shipping in September but weโre opening a beta in a few weeks if you want to join the waitlist. ๐ค

Building a fitness app has its perks.
Like hopping on a bike for work whenever thereโs something new to test ๐
Today we took @fitwoody.camp out with @patricia-bedoya.bsky.social And yes, we did break a sweat, all in the name of product testing ๐

We are back to building in public. Like in 2023, but with everything we've learned since then. Week by week. With you.
๐งช We will open beta in the coming weeks.
๐ฒ We're launching in September, together with iOS 26.
What do you think, we can't wait to hear from you!
What's new? Well, practically everything. But the most important thing is what you can expect:
๐ Daily analysis of your fitness.
๐
Personalized 3-month plan that adapts every day.
๐ฌ Motivation without infantilism.
๐ Progress beyond the streaks.
No more excuses. The "I can't today". The "tomorrow I start."
๐ฃ We created @fitwoody.camp 2.0 to help you achieve the best version of yourself.
10+ months of work. All redone from scratch: new design, new code, a new direction.
๐ You'll be interested. #BuildInPublic
