A screenshot of my Bluesky feed, a bbc news story about a tomb collapsing followed by Tim Worthington discussing the Doctor Who story The Daemons.
This is quite the coincidence on my feed:

31.10.2025 13:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not easy. I've been there, albeit 30 years ago, but there wasn't anything specific I actually recognised. I got it more on general vibes.
31.10.2025 10:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I got a bit lucky with this. I visited 30 years ago, but I didnβt really recognise it. There must have been a residual memory of some of the buildings.

30.10.2025 19:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had recently started visiting London from Cambridge and growing to love it, so I enjoyed the Battersea and Bankside power station locations.

30.10.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Interesting. That reminds me that 60s pop groups would play ice rinks. I am no expert, but I would like to find out more. I have seen a tour list including some ice rinks (can't remember who), and my Dad definitely saw Amen Corner during a skating session at Dundee ice rink, stage on the cafe roof.
29.10.2025 08:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I really enjoyed this sequel to Bravo Two Charlies. Thank you @stevedoherty.bsky.social , @mattleys.bsky.social , @trenamanmartin.bsky.social and everyone else in the cast.

And then there is another glorious album of covers, I can't pick just one from it.
Twentieth Century Blues:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-3b...
Randy Newman's In Germany Before the War:
youtu.be/I4ImOjMAuPw?...
Neko Case's Hold On, Hol On:
youtu.be/O5MbW5guq8U?...
I love how Marianne Faithfull can make so many other people's songs her own. Here are a couple from Easy Come, Easy Go, an album of covers:
Dolly Parton's Down From Dover:
youtu.be/W62_7PG55_Y?...
Bruce Springsteen's Backstreets:
youtu.be/MgwObTsSebY?...
Hickory Wind
youtu.be/SeJxglnmom0?...
I love some of Maria McKee's cover versions:
Wichita Lineman

Sid H'Bibi by Mano Negra, though my favourite recording is a live performance by Manu Chao and Radio Bemba Sound System live in Bayonne:
youtu.be/1ayhYqROuY0?...
I'm not sure of the original version.
3 Mustafas 3 doing Choufi Ghirou by Moroccan singer Najat Aatabou:

R.E.M. did Syd Barrett's Dark Globe as a B-side and I think as a live number:
youtu.be/gr34i5UmjmE?...
Jackson Browne's For a Dancer:
youtu.be/VArW_x590bQ?...
Now a couple from Londa Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris's album Western Wall: The Tucson Sessions.
Bruce Springsteen's Across the Border (always makes me cry):
youtu.be/OfCS1yXg8gk?...
So many, I can't choose one, so here are a few. For starters, I like this so much more than the Beatles original (sorry Ringo).
