Poll taxes have been ruled unconstitutional. The "intellectually consistent" position is that our political and pundit classes have become hopelessly corrupt.

Given everything going on I feel a little guilty about having fun, but the weekend was very nice. Went on a date to Phoenix with my wife, saw the ballet on Friday, then visited Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior on Saturday. On Sunday had lunch with my new in-laws at Tohono Chul.
Can't complain.
