In 2021-2022 I absolutely adored 12 Years, playing it multiple times and even doing a live play on a private discord server. Then I apparently went to live under a rock and remained completely unaware of its MULTIPLE EXPANSIONS. Just stumbled across the latest one in its final hours on Kickstarter.

I played a couple of games of Hobgoblin and was totally hooked. It’s awesome.

Twelve Years is a solo or multiplayer procedurally generated rules light ttrpg focused on classic archetypal fantasy positioning the epic quest as central rather than any one character. It’s also a hexcrawler and dungeon crawler!

Yeah I’m a sucker for dungeon delves. I’ll definitely check these out and I’ve been meaning to pick up Final Girl for a long while.

Do you play solo games? Have any favorites? I have been surprised how much I love Mini Rogue. Barbarian Prince was amazing but it also gets my brain firing on how to accomplish the same goals with a bit more elegant mechanics. Fighting Fantasy and Lone Wolf gamebooks are phenomenal.
