Woke up from a dream about a secret room in Super Mario World.

This was in a random Ghost House within the Forest of Illusion.

Somewhere near the far end of the map is a wall where a door stands.

But. You can jump to hit an invisible block hugging the wall, and out comes a vine to climb.

I’ve grown used to it. They’re pretty neat to me now!

You climb inside.
You see yourself within it behind its eyes and mouth as you feel around the maze within and backtrack across the hall.

Behind the dolphin den, seen in the corners where space exists. Yet another maze like structure.

Then making back behind the study, stretching farther, up until

Much like the dolphins in the room prior, he too looked like a hollow meat sack just placed here. Eyes missing, mouth agape, colored crudely with scribbles of pinks, reds and whites.

The furthest corner of the room is where his hand rests, and a giant gash in his thumb that we could enter.

The Mario Corner is the end of this hallway where I saw what supported that pink hairy thing that spread across the map.

It was this things arm.

This “thing” was a giant, naked Mario body contorted to fit the space of the screen, limbs wrapped around like a pretzel.

After that room, I was met with the regular rooftops with an additional asset hanging from the skies. Meat hooks.

Following behind this wrinkly pink thing that sported lines of hairs now led to what creeped me out the most in this dream.

The Mario Corner:

I followed onward to reach the next section.

The Dolphin Den:

This one was fairly short and looked as if it was a room within a room itself?

Weird thing is, you had oversized Dolphin enemies looking cartoonishly dried out, hollow, stacked on top of another to fill the cramped space.

I reached the end of this portion to be not only met with the rooftop backdrop, but also a weird, pink strip of something that blocked 1/3rd of the background.

Coloring looked like how Yoshi’s Island backgrounds were, like a professional child drawing.

Section 1: The Study Hall.

After walking to the left for a little, I encountered a portion of the screen that had a different background.

Wooden wall, portraits of different sizes covering each corner, bookshelves and a desk you can destroy by jumping on it a few times.

Climbing up the vine leads to a room that fills the whole screen, showing you the rooftops of the background.

Walking along the path to the left, I remember 3 sections. Here is what they were.

Super Cool, Super Original Idea:
Completely normal fighting game but the jiggle physics has hit boxes.

…I shouldn’t be allowed to make a fighting game.

I urge those who need it an occasional mental health break. Everyone needs it once in a while. If it takes days, weeks even, do your best to get your train back on its tracks.

It may be tough as hell, but you have the strength to move forward.✨

Been taking a few days to put my focus off game dev after workin on it daily. Currently in the process of trying to get a second job, and man, the market nowadays is a pain in the ASS haha.

But hey, all is fine despite being in hot water. (Who doesn’t love a jacuzzi?)
