Sorry for the repost spree...

A 5 colour pixelart of a pink anthropomorphic creature wearing an oversized blue sweater, blue boots, black shorts and long white socks. One of the socks is all crumbled just under their knee. They are holdin an umbrella and are slightly smirking. They have rounded whisker-like shapes sticking out of their cheeks, somewhat like an axolotl, and their long hair uses similar shapes. They also have two slightly diamond-shaped ears at the top of their head.

I *would* buy a real GBC and mod it, but the least expensive ones are like 70€ at best, and often over 100€ (thank you US retro game market, I loove youuuu for what you did)

Heck, I saw one that is literally dead for like 50/60€ and the seller "doesn't know what's broken"

Saw some posts saying the FPGBC isn't actually that great because flashcart support isn't the best and the games don't run at the correct speed...

Sigh... I just want to be able to slot cartridges in a real console without having to pay an exorbitant price or support a terrible human being 😔

Genuinely feeling like I'm cracked at pixelart now. Took a while, but I'm just incredibly proud of how far I've come. I still have A LOT to learn and a lot I cannot do, but that's okay. I'll get better at those things someday

Yup, it did! I'll probably go with GB/C only (hence the fpgbc), since I mostly use an old DS for GBA stuff, but that's a lot of helpful info!

I remember seeing a flashcart with an integrated e-ink screen and that was incredibly cool-looking, similar to that virtual boy one.

No idea if it was actually good or not though
