youtube changed things so I can't block those recommended videos that show up after i finish watching something. now i have to see names like "the punk rock mba"

nothing more punk than having a masters degree in business administration. please read a band's wikipedia page to me for 20 minutes

it just felt like the first domino in a chain of sadness and struggling beyond what was already the case in previous years

but it's really only the first if you start counting there. like how celebrity deaths come in threes because you start over before you get to four

it only feels a LITTLE like it, SOMETIMES. as much as I adore his work, I could never fully believe something like that because he was just some rich old guy who happened to get away with making weird movies in a system that doesn't allow that to happen 99.99% of the time. not a supernatural barrier

after this year it does sometimes feel a little like david lynch was the final load-bearing pillar of goodness left, and when he died all the shit started raining down harder than ever
