My guess is this was a poorly considered response to GDPR. They lost a huge amount of SEO and accessibility simply because they didn’t implement Content Security Policy approach that would have at least allowed the site to remain accessible in the EU developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/W...

It's been called "AI," but it's just scripted behavior. No learning, no adaptation. Comparing Pac-Man ghosts to modern AI is like calling a pocket calculator a supercomputer. Historically accurate, but technically/contextually misleading now. I expect better from the NYT than I would a Fandom wiki

No, I don’t think so. I don’t think anyone ever held up Pac-Man as an example of “AI”. You could, by same argument, argue (badly) that Undo/Copy/Paste commands are AI because they perform actions based on realtime user-input

No, there is a wide gulf between technologies. Nested conditional statements versus LLMs. Not even close.

Stayed mostly in the old city center. Cobbled stone streets, architecture, walkability, green spaces, great variety and depth of restaurants - and just 30 minutes from Brussels and less than 2 hours from Paris… I’m enamored.

Spend most of the week in Lille, France, and now off to Belgium. Amazing and beautiful city. Just me and The Kid. Hope to go back
