From the features shown, it seems like that will have a script de-sync. The "Enhanced" version mentions "extensive additions and adjustments to the story", which I am betting will involve script changes.

We might also see game devs get even worse cost of living vs. wage ratios as pay doesn't increase but number of games on the market does, causing more releases to compete for audience attention and money. It's a really fraught position, sadly.

I still think about how mad I am at Innistrad 2 for zigging where it could have zagged beautifully. Nahiri teams up with Sorin, helps him give up his Spark to save Avacyn (literally his child) and turn her into a PW. Avacyn and Liesa help the crew banish Emrakul..

Oh, the most important one: Battlefleet Gothic is the best game GW ever made, and they should bring it back.

The scale of the game has grown to horrible proportions. The number of models on the table in a normal game is absurd. Model count should be about 50-65% of what it currently is.

I Go / You Go has long overstayed its welcome. They should rip the band-aid off already and do alternating activations.

The entire Command Point/Stratagem system is boring and kind of sucks. Command points should be thrown out, and Strats should be big, amazing, impactful faction/detachment-themed once-per-game abilities. Most should cost points.

Rerolls of any kind should be incredibly rare. Maybe 1-2 things with some kind of reroll per faction *total*

Terrain rules have only gotten worse since 3e/4e. Area, difficult, dangerous allowed for flexible modeling and functional rules that weren't just "ruined city block full of L-shapes"

Knights, Deathwatch, Grey Knights, Harlequins, Ynnari, Agents of the Imperium, the dedicated Chaos legions, and all of the dedicated Marine chapters shouldn't be unique factions.

Knights and aircraft don't belong in the game at all.

Rifle Spear on my first run made a complete mockery of this dude.

There is zero character power/progression in the random pull/purchase options. It's just more clothing/accessories/outfits, & there's a TON of entirely free stuff in the game to play dress up-with. It's like Genshin, but instead of powerful characters in the gacha, it's dresses & accessories.

I met Howard in Vegas years ago (GP Vegas for Modern Masters 2). Got a signed print and chatted for a few minutes while his line was empty. Really cool dude. He even gave me an extra print of Taste of Blood that he had signed but slightly smudged the signature on.
