He has a number of half-siblings, as is common for miqo'te. Three of them are hunters, one is a healer (she mostly works with traditional medicines but knows a little meracydian conjury) and one is a guard. He hasn't been able to speak to anyone in his family since he left Meracydia, though.

The only death that scares Art is one where he isn't remembered. One where who he was is cut out, where he joins the countless lost on the bleached desert to voidsent.
Dragons remember. Those who are remembered live on through those who love them, and forever after.
He despises Alexandria.

The songs celebrate their lives and tend to follow what is tattooed on their skin during life. The songs are written down and it's a lorekeeper's duty to guard the collection of songs. They aren't dirges but instead joyful remembrance, to echo how dragons experience all at once.

Death is a cause for sadness, but the context is important. The dead mist be respected. Something about a land whose dead were reanimated for their enemy's voidsent army...
The dragons remember, and it is common practice for Meracydians to compose songs about the deceased.

Reminder for the Gathering Society Quests that you can just put like 21 of the quest items they ask for in your pocket and not have to go gather them every time. Your pockets will be an incident for a while but the time saving is nice if you're running them on alts or have other stuff you do too.

This is especially nice now they've got rid of hq items! My qitari collection was a nightmare...

Thancred and Art have a very particular language of support that they built from the ground up after the Lahabrea Incident. It's not unshakeable and they both know it, and that's important.
