Ghoap but after they’re comfortable together it turns out that Ghost is the talker.

He never shuts up, actually. Like he’s making up for years of silence somehow by talking Soap’s ear off. He talks about anything and everything. History, science, literature. A new topic all the time.

okay but have we considered centaur zoomies...

centaur!ghost, who is normally a hardass, stoic beast. cracks a joke every now & again (mostly to johnny), but otherwise is just a big spooky shadow.

but at the year's first snow, this big bad centaur is FROLICKING. rearing & bucking & prancing about.

Johnny sitting there all bundled up with two cups of tea (one for Ghost once his zoomies are over) smiling all soft and sweet as he's watching Ghost!

Also- my dog used to barrel straight into us when she had her zoomies - did Ghost almost mow Soap down before, you know, being massive and all?

After a while Johnny starts seeking out Simon by himself before things get too bad. He doesn't have to speak, simply bringing the pack of increasingly beaten up looking felt tip pens to Simon is enough for Simon to make time for Johnny and their shared little grounding ritual.

Over short or long it always ends up helping.

And the more they do this, the faster Johnny calms down, often falling asleep on the couch next to Simon.

way he smells, the warmth of his body, the calm his entire being radiates, his breath slow and steady, Johnny mirroring it subconsciously. Having his hands occupied while Simon puts on the TV or, on very rare occasions, reading his book out loud to Johnny if things are going from bad to worse

is finally quiet enough to form coherent thoughts again.

He can drink some water, have a snack and then, if not sleep, at least rest.
They continue doing this, it becomes a routine after missions or whenever Johnny is anxious and restless. The close proximity to Simon, the comfortingly familiar

unable to eat, drink or sleep.

At some point Simon sits Johnny down, tosses him a pack of cheap coloured felt tip pens and orders him to colour his tattoos.

It takes a while but once all of Simon's half sleeve (and a bunch of blank skin) is drawn on, Johnny settles. His head

Service top Soap with a humiliation streak a mile wide. Power bottom trans Ghost who makes Soap fuck him until he cries from overstimulation and then some (and then carries him to the bathroom to take a bath once they're done because Soap's knees are too weak to walk)

Please consider Soap with a voice kink, working in a recording studio for audiobooks.

People, kneeling when you're tired and want a break, kneeling after you feel and make sure you're not hurt. Just kneeling.

Now just I imagine this huge, scary snowboarder getting stuck in powder snow and Soap pissing himself laughing before helping to dig him out. Ghost will never live this down

It is! Also, lots of random falling over going from standing up straight, no movement to face first in the snow if you suck at snowboarding enough (which i do)
