I work on a site which had really bad CLS scores.
But it wasnβt βreal CLSβ, it was due to a graph tooltip that showed on hover (which doesnβt count as a user interaction, for good reasons), and followed the user as they panned along the graph.
So I put off fixing it as it wasnβt a priority.

You can now click this link to quickly flip over to CrUX Vis to see the historical Core Web Vitals trends for whatever view you're looking at (mobile/desktop and URL/origin):
A screenshot of a GitHub README with the following content: ## SVG Badges You can now embed Core Web Vitals metrics in your GitHub README or documentation using our SVG badges: A small example badge with the words 'roe.dev' against a black background, with 'CWV Pass' against a green background. ### Badge Options You can customize the badges with different metrics and styles: #### Metrics Three examples showing different metrics for LCP, CLS and INP. #### Styles Three examples showing slightly different visual styles (flat, flat-square and plastic).
just shipped something I think is pretty cool
π SVG badge support for page-speed.dev, meaning you can embed the performance of your site in a tiny badge ...

CrUX team continue to be on absolute FIRE! MORE DATA! π₯³
You can now get up to 40 weeks data from the CrUX history API, so I've added that to my free tool here: tamethebots.com/tools/cwv-hi...
For those monitoring Core Web Vitals, we made a small change to the CrUX History API used by CrUX Vis last night and now return 10 months of data, rather than 6 months of data to bring it more inline with the CrUX Dashboard that we're looking to deprecate. Enjoy!

LCP by phase insight in DevTools Performance panel, now with both lab LCP subparts AND field LCP subparts.
Ohhh happy to see the CrUX field LCP subparts data coming to Chrome DevTools.
Stop wasting time optimizing your front end code, if your issue is TTFB!
Yay! new CrUX API goodness! LCP Type and Image Subparts are now available!, so I've added them to my free CWV History Tool here: tamethebots.com/tools/cwv-hi...

What a beautiful surprise to get these extra fields on CrUX APIs!
Absolutely fantastic work from the Chrome team, it's hard to describe how extremely useful it is to get this level of UX insight on almost any website, for free and without having to previously convince clients to setup monitoring
We don't have an official CrUX Bluesky account, so for the moment I'll announce the monthly releases. And we're starting with a big one!
