Is anyone else holding their breath this summer every time an ice cream truck goes by? They come to our neighborhood far too often and I just hope my kids don’t hear.

This is what I had to do for my last job. I had to skip alt text because the apps didn’t allow it.

That’s what I meant. It’s less beneficial but still useful after a post. I ok with not having the ability to edit posts after the fact but alt text should be allowed to be added after!

It is a skill drowning out transphobes. I wish it were a skill that none of us should have to hone.

I’ve seen some people add alt text after posts. It doesn’t have the same impact but still useful.

Crochet patterns are awesome. First they show you what you're going to make, then they show you the skeleton of the thing you are making. To you it looks like I'm making mittens, but I'm actually building an unalive creature for my hands using the bones of my yarn.

Cooked bacon in the fridge. I made my 9 year old a bacon, egg & English muffin sandwich. Made a sandwich for me, but my 14 year old woke up and decided he liked bacon again. Then 9 year old demanded all of the bacon. 14 got 1/3 piece of bacon & I got the essence of bacon in my sandwich. #parenting

I feel like they have fashion designers in this world and they use them. I'm sure those uniforms don't last that long when you are wearing them every single day. I'm sure there are psychological reasons why a new uniform every few years would be beneficial.

Probably not at all. I don’t think anyone in my high school had read it. There really isn’t anything in there that supports the pro life movement, but an awful lot that would lead a person to believe that abortion is ok. I mean I’m atheist now but before I read it cover to cover several times.

I do that a lot! Some kind of neurodevelopment disorder + Fibro + anxiety + other stuff = doing a lot in a day. There isn’t really a right way just stuff that works. #KidLitChat

It goes up and down. I think the good thing is that I get a ton done when I actually do create. #KidLitChat I’ve learned that this moment might be the only one I have for a while. Then again there are still a lot of laid back days. I’m not a superhero.

It’s a good place to be to write. Especially when creators so often put their own work down. And I do not know how many times my mental state has not been a safe space for creation. #KidLitChat

I’d say my work has changed in the fact that I write more queer stories. Mostly because it’s more acceptable now to be queer now than it was 10 years ago. Even with the current political climate. I have not dove into any current events yet but I might. #kidlitchat
