Working on layout for some of aay aay's Naaxiin (Chilkat) wool-woven ceremonial bags.

Working on layout for some of aay aay's cedar bark weavings. On this plinth is a yellow cedar on red cedar hat and basket, the basket has strawberry designs woven into it and then painted to highlight. Raven's Tail weavings can be seen in the background, lying on a table.

Do dress your best! Installing Raven's Tail regalia (aprons, leggings, wristlets, headbands) on some mannys.

First rule about growing up in a Navy house, especially if both parents not only worked at the Naval Academy but connected to sports, is to be incredibly petty towards the Army. Lesser extent also Air Force (esp w/ Naval Aviation dad)

So there's just a *tiny* bit more Schadenfreude at that parade

the thing these people have not understood is that Americans don't really ~do~ military parades. it's not in our national character. that's good, actually!

The years long grind is done. I no longer think it's one of the ugliest mounts - still not one I visually love, but I do love the Diadem music. And the bragging rights of completing this #FFXIV achievement.

In S3 of "The Wheel of Time" Tv series, some scenes were filmed on Socatra.

The tell? A character known as the Dragon-reborn was resting under a Dragon Tree (Dracaena cinnabari).

And frankly, that was far deeper of a botanical cut than I expected for this series.

IIRC he added the power level metric halfway through the series for a planned TTRPG game, it doesn't really show up in the books at all, and most of the fandom ignores it, as does the show.

Book One is the oddball in that most (but not all) POV chapters are from Rand, with Perrin in 2nd irrc. And some POVs will be minor characters/one offs not just limited to Prologues like ASoIaF
