Her looks are striking and unique in Hollywood. Her bald head and long nails don’t make her a “monster”, they make her stand out, and they make her happy. She’s not sacrificed her identity for her career, and I love that. It’s inspiring.

*sigh* Yep, the Wicked promo has started again, I’m seeing racist, homophobic and misogynistic comments about Cynthia Erivo’s appearance again. All under the guise of “it’s just a coincidence that the things I hate about her appearance are more commonly seen in the black community.”

He still becomes a ghost, but it’s an accident by falling in a construction pit. I remember them deciding to use the Lazarus machine to save him, which still happens, as does the trio wanting him to join them, but I could have sworn he was encouraged to kill himself.

Am I going mad? I could have sworn that there was a plot in Casper where his uncles try to convince Bill Pullman to off himself so he can live with them forever. I’ve literally discussed this with other people and they’ve remembered it too, however I just rewatched it and it’s nowhere!

Being a fat woman is awesome in hospital environments when you don’t have a man there to advocate for you. I’m going to have a lavender marriage with a clumsy gay man so he can advocate for me in hospitals. Seems like the answer.

Am now in an urgent treatment centre - different to the aforementioned hospital - having decided I probably should get it checked out. The guy who initially saw me seemed irritated by my very presence, but I’ve just had an x-ray and the guy who did that was pleasant.

I point out that they didn’t say that because they didn’t want me getting looked after, but because that is how bad it is there. This week, a group of nurses - one I’ve definitely been seen by - went to a tribunal to “defend their sex based rights.” Yeah, I’ll put some ice on it and drug myself.

Guess which dumb cunt fell down the stairs at work and has been sent home because even my bosses said “yeah, don’t go to our local hospital”.

We don’t even have to find out who Finn’s family are. It can show that family is what you make of it. Finn announcing that with Rey, Poe and Rose, he’s got a pretty great family already.

It doesn’t have to be shippy, fanfic can do that for me, but no shoehorned romances to try and remind straight men Star Wars is for them, which then result in the women getting attacked.

I just want an old fashioned adventure movie, something a bit Indiana Jonesy.

I don’t want both. I want a fun Finn and Poe adventure story, trying to find Finn’s past. I want Kes Dameron. I want a chase in Shara Bey’s old A Wing. I want that story, that silliness. Let’s bring Rose along too, she deserves better.

My friend in school had a crush on Jay Mohr, and so said we had to watch this. Baby Vee was TERRIFIED of horror at this point, and I remember writing a long letter to her citing so many reasons I couldn’t watch it. I always chuckle at that memory.

In the end we did watch it, even wore out her VHS.
