Working on a couple of bunny blanket buddies for upcoming baby showers. The lavender one just needs stuffing and a face. The yellow one has a ways to go. But they only take a few days to make.

A knitted sweater on a green couch cushion. The sweater is brown at the neck and shoulders and then transitions to lighter browns down the body. The pattern alternates between garter rows and eyelet lace. The bottom edge is still on knitting needles.

We're getting there. Just a couple more rounds on the lower body and then ribbing. I'm counting on this getting longer when I block it.

Just finished reading Yusuf Azeem is Not a Hero by Saadia Faruqi. Moving story of a Muslim boy dealing with bullying and discrimination because of his religion set around the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Plus robotics!

Let's have a parade!

Two halves of a Gold Bond lotion bottle that has been cut in half. A significant amount of lotion remains in the bottom half. The useless pump lies between the two halves.

Can you see how much lotion is left in this bottle? Our solution is to cut the bottle in half and use a temporary cover. (I didn't know I was going to be posting lifehacks on here...)
