Neither of my parents had living siblings, so my dad's best friend and his wife were my "aunt" and "uncle," and so were/are my mom's numerous same-generation cousins.

Our local food bank is located on a state highway in South Carolina and opens 9 a.m. M-F. I hope to document the length of the vehicle queue when possible as the Republican SNAP hunger crisis approaches.

During COVID, our local food bank had a mile-long car line at times. Couple times during COVID, all children in my school district in S Carolina (not sure about others) received EBT cards, regardless of income. People were still hungry. This will be devastating. Food banks need whatever we can give.
