What a great tip...I should take it.

That sounds sensible! It's definitely influenced by genre and tone, I think. Good to know that 5k isn't an insane proposition, and hopefully it fits my generally wordy, slow style.

I know this is a "how long is a piece of string?" question, but what do you aim for in terms of chapter length? My genre is general/lit fic, novel-length, fairly wordy, and I've been going for a loose 5k per chapter. #writesky #amwriting

I have been very slack about writing lately, and slacker still about tweeting about it. So, here we go. #amwriting

Today is more of an #amplanning day...as the past few have been. It feels like a step backwards, but I have to remind myself it is not.

Sorry, but this WAS my best tip. Always do (write) the weird thing.
