I was about to say this since I feel this way even with cgi animals/creatures that are hurt, injured, dead. It's very difficult to watch even knowing they might not be real...

I only used to rewatch fellowship of the ring because I had the DVD. Sounds great to watch them in theaters! I've been watching the extended editions as well (long but great).

Oh I'm watching lotr trilogy too (after the Hobbit trilogy) but needed to take other movie breaks in between

Happy #letterboxdfriday. Taking on the LOTR trilogy is daunting. Extended cuts are long. Anyway, it was a fun week. I actually really liked Pillion.
