Social enterprise strategy and marketing. I love to geek out about systems and how they interact. My examples often come from game design, psychology, and stories.

01.04.2025 22:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Have you thought about designing a product for your social enterprise, but don't know where to start? We've just wrapped a 5 part video workshop series on prototyping and bringing products to market!

It's disappointing how little space is being taken by the workers that are being displaced or are correcting the outputs.
I've been thinking about ways to better share ideas of strategic thinking through social enterprise initiatives.
Right now I'm leaning towards videos that go through the assumptions that were made, which were helpful, which weren't and the context surrounding the strategy and decisions.
Thoughts?
If there are particular kinds of social enterprises that you'd like to have featured to be able to share with others, please let me know. I'll see if we can emphasize them in our media production calendar!
17.12.2024 21:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love when I get to promote social impact businesses and social enterprises, so I'm very happy to share our latest video featuring Botanical Paperworks.
They recycle old paper into fresh pulp to create their compostable seed paper. They also recently got B-Corp certification with a mission lock.
Thanks! We're really pleased with how this first one turned out, and the second one will be working through some elements of risk management.
(Also, it's great to see you also made the switch from twitter! It's good to see you here!)
Iβm looking forward to watching these!

I feel like Sky as prefix could have legs if there isn't already a defined name for the group.
Sky-Fi is just too good to miss out on.
I have to say, it's nice and calming be scrolling down a feed, and be able to hit the end of it.
It makes it easier to be able to log off and go do the work when I'm seeing the same posts again and I'm not being force fed algorithmic content.
This week I'm happy to share that we've published one of our first self-paced video workshops for social enterprise product development.
In partnership with Local Investment Toward Employment in Winnipeg we're able to make this workshop available to everyone online.

Very happy to see a growing #socent community here! I'm looking forward to being able to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones!
Our team at Strategy Made Simple will be working towards increasing our posting about social enterprise education and strategy over time.
