Pretentious Things I do as a Novelist #392:

I'm at the stage of this first draft where if anything happened to me, it would be 'unfinished novel' rather than 'unfinished novella'.

I've scribbled notes about how I want it to end so someone else can finish it in the event of my death/incapacity.

It's also weird how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are known to eat pizza while the Italian plumber Mario Bros eat mushrooms that grow in the sewer.

65 minutes into watching #TheFantasticFourFirstSteps . What is with this map? Reed's plan is to place teleportation bridges all round the globe. The middle of Asia looks quite scanty, though.

I have been pronouncing faucet wrong (I pronounced it as for-say). I blame it on associating the word to sachet.

Well, this led me to something interesting: What's the difference between a tap and a faucet? I quickly found there were regional preferences, but this wasn't my focus...

I realize it was referenced by Johnny in the film, but it played out as a joke, and many(like I) missed the reference.

Come to think of it, growing up watching The Fantastic Four, I had no idea Ben was referred to anything other than Ben. A little over a decade later, I hear comic book people call him The Thing...

If this was not the case, imagine the caricaturesque varieties of people we would have, whose sole existence is to be situated in a sort of demographic that's one-size-fits-all.

The part they don't tell you about doing an analysis project is how it becomes an extra course you have to read for(since deep understanding is required to analyse a subject.)

Im sure that means maybe a cameo or a glance at a nameplate in a previous movie or something. Arnold was a full featured villain as freeze, doesnt mean it was done well but he was a main villain. 99.9% you can cross him off. Im thinking court of Owls cause that just fits after The Penguin
