Council pulls major Crewe road closure following traffic chaos and permit breach Cheshire East Council ordered the immediate shutdown of roadworks on Weston Road, Crewe, following severe traffic disruption and a breach of permit conditions.

If nothing else this shows the absolute ridiculous nature of traffic in Crewe. The silly thing is that they want the developments off David Whitby Way to be less car-centric.
