That is before we even get to physical expression of phenotypical sex traits, which are also not 0 or 1.

There are about 60 different variations of sexual expressions (DSD)s.

Sex is not a binary.

So when people say sex is binary I like to ask them this as an example:

A binary is 0 or 1.

There should be no more than 2 variables (0 or 1) for this binary.

There are 16 different chromosomal variations.

There are 4 gamete variations.

Neither of those is binary. Sex is not binary.

So now we need to organize, protect each other and check on one another. If you have lgbt+ friends or family, reach out to them.

Find community they can help, reach out to local Unitarian Universalist churches, they are incredibly progressive and defend lgbt+ rights.
